Q: HOW DO I SIGN UP FOR OUTSIDE THE BOX?
A: CLICK HERE to sign up. Our boxes start at $54.99 for a one-time box or $49.99 USD a month with a subscription, not including taxes or shipping costs. Shipping is a $1.99 flat rate per order.
Q: HOW DO I CANCEL MY SUBSCRIPTION?
A: We are sad to see you go. Please email us here: firstname.lastname@example.org and we can cancel your subscription. You can cancel at any time. If you cancel after the 1st of the month (our billing date), you will be billed for the that month, but not the next month. For example, we will charge your card on January 1st for the January box, if you cancel January 2nd you will receive the January box the week of January 20th, but you will not be charged February 1st. This allows us to keep up costs low by pre-ordering the exact amount of products needed each month.
Q: I SIGNED UP, WHEN SHOULD I GET MY BOX?
A: If you sign up for Outside The Box by the 18th of the month, you should receive the box that month and each month after that (unless you've chosen the gift box option). We take orders throughout the month and we always ship our boxes around the 20th of each month. If the 20th falls on a weekend or a holiday, boxes will be shipped on the following business day. For the Christmas holiday, we will try to ship earlier to help the package get to its destination a little early. Delivery of your box depends on where you are located. Q: WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A GIFT BOX AND A SUBSCRIPTION BOX?
A: A gift box is a one-time purchase, that does not renew. You can purchase the gift box for family, friends or someone can gift it to you. You can make a single box purchase or select gift subscription 3 month or 6 month option. 3 Month and 6 Month Gift Subscriptions will not automatically renew. A subscription plan, is an auto renew plan. You will receive Outside The Box every month unless you decide to switch plans or cancel your subscription. There are 3 subscription plan options; month- to- month, 3 month and 6 month. All subscription plans will automatically renew. There are sibling add ons for both gift box subscriptions and subscription plan boxes.
Q: HOW DO RENEWALS WORK?
A: When you subscribe for your Outside The Box you will be charged immediately for the subscription you have chosen (1, 3, or 6 months). Once your subscription cycle is over, you will be re-billed for the same cycle until you decide to switch to a different plan or cancel your subscription.
- Month-to-month plans: You will be charged for one month on the 1st of each month.
- 3-Month plans: After you have received three Outside The Boxes, you will be automatically renewed for another three months. Gift plans will not automatically renew. Please email us at Elizabeth@cheekydays.com to set it up for automatic renewal.
- 6-Month plans: After you have received six Outside The Boxes, you will be automatically renewed for another six months. Gift plans will not automatically renew. Please email us at Elizabeth@cheekydays.com to set it up for automatic renewal.
Q: I AM MISSING SOME ITEMS IN MY BOX.
A: We are so sorry! We only hire the most diligent packing elves we can find, but accidents happen. Seriously, this is very rare and shouldn’t happen again. Please know we are a family working to put these boxes together by hand. Our goal is to curate boxes with love filled with quality products and engaging activities. Q: I CAN’T FIGURE OUT HOW TO MAKE THE CRAFT OR COMPLETE THE ACTIVITY.
A: In each box there will be a community card, description of everything in the box, as well as instructions for creating the crafts and completing the activities. Our hope is to provide meaningful, but simple ways for families to connect, create and give to the community, so if you're having any trouble please contact us and let us know. We also have a blog (http://www.cheekydays.com/blog) that will feature the box each month, feel free to follow us there, keep updated, and chat with us in the comment section.
Q: WHAT COMES IN OUTSIDE THE BOX?
A: We are excited that you have decided to join the journey to live Outside The Box. Our dream is to provide families a way to give back that is simple and impactful, while spending quality moments together. Each box will contain a children's t-shirt or wearable, a hand-selected children's book, everything needed to complete 2 - 4 crafts or activities that reinforce the monthly theme and will encourage a lifestyle of kindness, connection and community, Community Cards that spark children's creativity and offer intentional ways to share it Outside The Box, plus a Spotlight on a different Non-Profit, Community Service or Give-Back Company every month. Q: HOW MUCH SUPERVISION IS NEEDED?
A: All contents in the box need to be supervised with children. Some crafts have small pieces that are a choking hazard. Please use caution! Outside The Box by Cheeky Days is not responsible for how craft and activity supplies are used after the box has been delivered.
Q: HOW DOES OUTSIDE THE BOX CHOOSE THE ORGANIZATION TO BE SPOTLIGHTED?
A: Every month, we at Cheeky Days carefully select a theme. Everything included in your Outside The Box is curated to the monthly theme, including the selected organization for the month. We strive to support a variety of causes and organizations where children can learn about their communities and families can make an impact and give back in a meaningful way.
